To Our Valued Customers: In light of recent news regarding the Coronavirus (COVID-19), Seafood Wholesalers is proactively taking steps to minimize any potential risks of contamination within our production facility. We have a solid control strategy in place, by way of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) to ensure employees are taking the necessary precautions such as washing and sanitizing their hands before entering production zones. All areas of warehouse coolers are being sanitized with bleach daily.

Seafood Wholesalers follows all HACCP guidelines regarding food safety and strictly enforces them within our facility. We have provided our employees information on our GMPs and information regarding the signs and symptoms of COVID-19. Our Business Continuity Response Team is closely monitoring the situation. We have a protocol in place to ensure any employees who may exhibit related symptoms remain at home until cleared by medical professionals of any potential infection.

Safety of employees and product integrity remain Seafood Wholesaler’s top priorities. We will continue to follow the guidance provided by the Harris County Department of Health, the CDC and the FDA so that we can proactively mitigate potential concerns. We will be in open communication should any changes occur due to local, state, or federal mandates.
